Lehmer’s has been a family-run dealership for over 25 years, run by the Anderson family, and when their parents retired a few years back, Darren and Russ Anderson, as well as their sister, took over the family business and are now running the show, with the help of VINView by FreightVerify.
In fact, as Darren puts it, “We are the oldest family-owned business in Concord, and we’re one of the oldest General Motors dealerships in the Bay Area.” The three Andersons practically do it all:
“Darren’s focused more on the finance aspects of the company as well as making sure that we have the right inventories and the right staffing levels. Russ is more involved in the ordering of new vehicles and purchasing of used vehicles, making sure that they all get through the shop and are displayed correctly. And our sister’s more involved in the marketing side of the business.”
